Medical Tourism is a Myth
Ladies who travel abroad for cosmetic procedures are often under wrong beliefs promoted by many South American countries on that “the more procedures they have done the less it will cost them”
Driving people into taking unnecessary risks in foreign countries is a behavior we totally disagree with.
Our position is: have done only those procedures for which you are an excellent candidate as a first step, making sure your medical team has an updated vision regarding handling only procedures and surgical techniques which will allow you to go through fast recovery processes. In addition, minimally invasive approaches and general concerns about time restrictions are especially important for foreign patients; the need for settling with nothing but the best within realistic comprehension, i.e. price, stay time and medical service excellence it is also a priority for patients to have in mind.
Unfortunately. mass consumption trends have distorted both patients’ and doctors’ mentality taking it to sheer commercial levels where everyone wishes taking advantage of the other. Professional activities are seriously damaged by this kind of concepts, equally affecting our reputation as a whole.
